Omega driver will bring frame rate conversion as experienced in cinemas to improve media playback with increased smoothness. This feature will only be accessible to supported radeon gpus / apus and directed at blu-ray media playback.

 

FirePro workstation graphics will support a variety of features including support for 24 displays. New driver supports offer user-level queuing, wider array of programming languages and other apis including HSA.

Developer access to the gpu will "...on the assembly level" so meaning lower level access to the hardware.

The workstation features was announced to be kernel levels drivers currently available with linux, targetting library developers, including c++ programming additions.
