Quick question about wall outlets

Why not buy a cheap anti static wrist strap? That is what I did while doing my new build so I didn't have to worry about zapping my CPU or something.Or just touch your case a lot if it's metal.

(Shocked myself during an accident boxing up an HDTV) (I live in California so maybe there are standards in case this kind of shit happens)

Because i does the same thing. You need a grounded thing. If I can easily have a grounded Case then I can just touch the case. I can't just put my aligator clip on my strap anywhere I want that is metal, it has to be grounded metal.
