Stora NAS problem

Hi everyone,

i have a NETGEAR Stora which was working just fine but there was a power shortage and then it can't power on correctly!! It powers on but the main led keeps flashing forever like it tries to read the disk but the disk i have now is new (the old was very small so change it). Normally it would ask me to format the disk so stora could use it, but it doesn't even connect to the computer (it is connected via ethernet to the router). Please help!!!

How long does it do it for and have you checked the webpage for the nas If so what does it say.

Was it on a surge protector?

What is surge protector???(I'm a noob )

 

 

How long does it do it for and have you checked the webpage for the nas If so what does it say.

As soon as i turn it on it keeps doing it without stoping...I checked on the web site but there is nothing to it, no software update, no firmware update no nothing :\
