at the said computer electronics retailer store could not figure out how to properly set-up my rig...

It turned out to be a failed internal hard-drive, and they wanted to switch out the motherboard and the graphics cards...

At this point , I had my whole set-up with me, monitors, keyboard, and all.

After the 4th time going to the store, I decided to return all the items purchased at that store...

That being said, I'm still looking to set-up a workstation with my current ASUS PB287Q 4K 28" Monitors.

I was hoping to find someone that ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW TO SETUP A POWERFUL WORKSTATION. It was a very frustrating and time consuming affair to now know that I was being led by those who have yet to really work with high-performance machines.

LinusTechTips have been a great help thus far and I was hoping I could turn to the community and finish what I started...I want Verison 1.4 to be the final version and perform how it should!

BELOW is the best looking set-up I had in my system, but it didn't work.....OVERCLOCKING FAILED....I saw that on the first 2 motherboards.

Did they build the PC for you? if yes then try out Origin PC or Cyber Power PC they will ship you the PCs AFTER testing them ..

A single 980 will not perform well on 4k (you need 2)

It was my first build and I wanted to ensure everything was done correctly, big mistake letting someone else touch my build, thought they knew what they were doing.

WHAT was I missing?

I had the i7-5930k running on ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME with ADATA 32GB RAM with DUAL MSI 980's....how did the whole team at the retailer not know how to configure and load windows 8.1 on my system?!

It looked amazing!

I have some parts of my system that I still want to incorporate, but need help assembling a system with someone who knows how to achieve my goal.

Below is what I have so far and what I need:

CompUTronn:

+CPU?

+Motherboard?

+Corsair H110i Liquid CPU Cooler

+Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 Tower

+16? / 32? RAM

+Power Supply?

+Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD

+WD 1TB HARD DRIVE

+Graphics Card or Cards?

Monitors:

ASUS PB287Q 28" 4K / 60Hz  X  2

Keyboard:

Corsair K70 RGB- Cherry MX Red

Mouse:

Corasir M65 RGB

*******

With your help, I need to find a . . .

MOTHERBOARD?

CPU (might switch from i7-5930k, any suggestions?)

RAM?

and finally.......which Graphics Cards...

Power Supply?

Overall, looking for a POWERHOUSE WORKSTATION running on DUAL ASUS PB287Q. If you have not dealt personally with 4K systems, please refrain from spreading inaccurate information. I have wasted over 2 weeks and $$$ with people who have never worked with performance systems. Your help is much appreciated!
