So I ordered a dashboard mount for my phone and chose the one day delivery option. It was guaranteed to be here by 8pm today, so I was surprised when it didn't arrive.i tracked it and saw that usps made a mistake and couldn't deliver it today. I called amazon just to let them know that I had ordered one day delivery and wouldn't get it until 3 days after I ordered. The woman I spoke with apologized on the behalf of Amazon and refunded my money. I asked how long I had to return the package and she said to keep it as an apology. Amazon will forever receive my business

TL;DR usps made a mistake and couldn't deliver my package, so amazon refunded my money and said to keep the package

Newegg did the same for me... Sorta.

I pre ordered the k95 rgb back in September and Corsair has not shipped them to newegg, so they gave me a $25 gift card.

I use Amazon almost exclusively nowadays. Like you said, they have amazing support, a huge variety of stuff, and generally lower prices than Newegg/other online stores

even if amazon was a little more expensive than buying the product at a store, i would still buy it from amazon. i'd rather pay a little extra and receive amazing support should something go wrong
