So my parents have optic fibre internet from Telus, but since our house is on the older side the placement of our wireless setup is limited to the corner of the house, and we don't get reception on the other side. I want to Upgrade our Wireless setup, but i'm a little confused with the hardware that the ISP setup for us. By what I can tell our "Fibre Box", which I assume is the motem, is connected to a router(it has antennas), then coming out of that is an Access point, and a Wireless booser(which was installed later but didn't help). So my question is what harware can/should I replace to improve our signal strength, I would like to go with Wireless AC.

My guess for the setup is that the router antennas are for our wireless TV connections, and the little cheap looking access point is for the WIFI. Let me know if pictures would help, I appreciate any advice!
