Civilization V won't play at 1440p

Wayne Tai

Hi guys,

I bought a new monitor ( benq bl2710pt ) just a couple of weeks back that supports 1440p, 16:9 resolution. Since I have 2 Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gaming in SLI, I tried playing all my games at 1440p and everything ran flawlessly. I tried playing Crysis 3, Metro, Bioshock, Tomb raider, watchdogs at max setting and they all ran very smoothly. Then I tried playing Civilization V, the graphic started glitching during gameplay at 1440p. Things don't show up correctly and it's totally not playable. In fact, In won't run at any resolution higher than 1080p. Since the option for higher resolution is there, there is no reason why the game won't support higher resolution gameplay.

Has anyone encounter this problem before?
