Hey :D

 

i will get a computer for Chrismas 

And i want to ask you guys, is this build good for gaming? should i go Up or down? ( 1200 €/$ )

 

CPU: AMD 6300

Cooler: Corsair h100i

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX r2.0

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8gb

Storage: WD Blue 1TB ( 1TB is ok for me )

Video Card: Asus R9 280X ( maybe crossfire , but not yet )

Case: Corsair 450D 

Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold

 

Overclocking? Maybe :)

no corsair RM

RM is not bad at all, it's just a bit overpriced.

 

They are still quality PSU's but there are better options for the price unless you can get a good deal on an RM PSU.

Like I said: The RM series is not a bad PSu by any means but there are better options for less money unless you can get a good deal on it like I could (Was 120, then 50 off made it 70, great PSU for 70)

I was going with the easy upgrade to 16GB in dual channel. I have a single 8GB stick and it's perfectly fine.

Well the mobo has 4 ram slots, so they might as well just do 2x4gb for now, then if they need more they can add another 2x4gb kit.
