Laptop <350

Hello,

 

I'm looking for a laptop for less than 350 US dollars. Trying to help a family member this is not for me. It will be used for web browsing  and watching movies and should at least have 500GB of space if possible.

All im seeing is junk cause it's nothing I would want, can someone help me out?

 

Any ideas?

Surprisingly, my laptop actually has a 1600x900 screen, which I think is unheard of for a laptop.

normal, many 14 inchers had those and 17 inches way back in the day.

 

 

 

To the op, this is probably the best you can get for that amount of money, it has great battery life, great build, good keyboard.

1600x900 is certainly uncommon in the mobile sector but it does look quite sharp on a 15.6" laptop displays.

17 inchers started getting them way back in the day. They keep getting them to this day.

But, I kinda regret getting my HP laptop. my school is going digital and I want to use my own laptop, but its not portable enough. too big for my backpack.

I love my 15.4" 2007 Sony. It's portable, it's fast, and it's 16:10 which is perfect for mobile.

I love my 15.4" 2007 Sony. It's portable, it's fast, and it's 16:10 which is perfect for mobile.

How's performance compared to today's laptops? What CPU does it run? And is 16:10 like really unheard of for mobile?
