I've bought myself a second gtx 980 for crimbo and was wondering would it be coming with a sli cable ? It's evga. If not can you let me know soonish as my mobo case is at my dad's so i would need to get it tonight rather than tommorow.

The SLI bridge comes with the motherboard, not the card

You're using SLI 980's on an 8350?

 

Are we sure PCIE 2.0 isn't going to bottleneck two 980's?  :wacko:

Shiiiiieeeeeet, ok thanks for letting me know time to brave the cold winter air, for tonight i must venture forth and retrieve the sacred sli cable of babylon. So yeah brb 30 mins.

If your motherboard didn't come with one then it probably doesn't support SLI. Supports 3-way SLI.

nah, we are only capping out pci-e 3.0 4x, so pci-3 2.0 16x is the same as 3.0 8x, so it will be fine

2x 290x was really close to maxing out PCIE 2.0, with bridgeless crossfire and all. I imagine 2x 980's with bridge will surely be almost as demanding
