Hey everybody :)

It's my first time putting a pc together so i'm kinda asking for advice as go for parts

These are the parts i've been looking at:

MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Samsung 850 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card

NZXT Phantom 410 (Black/Orange) ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Corsair H75 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

If you have any suggestions as for what could be upgraded or downgraded feel free to tell :)

Best Regards Nicolai

Go 8 gigs of ram (switch out the blue ram, it clashes with the mobo color) and the 4690k and then get a GTX 980, also see if you can afford a h80i it performs a good bit better than an h75

SYSTEM SPECS

i7 4790k | LTT Edition Noctua NH-U12S | Gigabyte Z97-SOC Force | 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR3 | 120GB Samsung 850 EVO | 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue | NVIDIA GTX 980ti | H440 Orange | EVGA 650B3 PSU

Go for 8gb of ram unless you use lots of tabs on the Internet. Also you don't need a 980 just a 970

If this is principally a gaming and general purpose system then an i5-4690K and 2x4GB of memory is more than sufficient.
