Air coolers: prolimatech megahalems vs phanteks tc14pe

Gdourado

Hello, how are you?

Question pretty much in the topic.

Which do you find better in terms of performance?

And how do they both compare to AIO water coolers?

Anything better in the air cooling world?

Cheers!

The phantek is known for it's awesome performance, and it can compare to a dual rad AIO, give 1-3C

How about this...

Prolimatechs limited-red Megahalems cooler with two Ultra-Sleek-vortex fans 140 mm

Or the Thermalright El Macho B:

The Prolimatechs costs double the price of the Thermalright. Is it worth it?

Cheers!

Looking at benchmarks the Prolimatechs seems to be quite loud. Underload is 51db, if quiet is what your going for that cooler is not going to be for you. But performance wise it looks awesome.

the phanteks is easier to install, a bit more color optioned and meh on fan

noise. the megahalems is more compact, gives up a bit on temperatures even

with the same fans installed, but looks the part.
