so i bought an r9 280x gigabyte rev 2 version! and at first my games just shutdown to desktop and pc restarded saying bccode 116!

then i installed windows 8.1 and now i randomly have games crashing to desktop! saying

"device driver stopped responding and has recovered"

my rest of the pc config is this

i3 2120

4gb ddr3 ram 1333 mhz and one 1066 mhz

gigabyte r9 280x rev 2

320 gb hdd 7200 rpm

dvd rw

cooler master casing

pc power and cooling silencer 610w psu

plzz help as this happens randomly and is so annoying also im worried about my gpu!

whats the problem?? :(

This is just a wild guess, but try removing the memory thats running at 1066mhz and try again, maybe the memory modules are incompatible (rare but posible) and are causing inestability.

yeah ill look into this and then update thanks for the help btw

but cant gpu be the problem in this?
