I'm getting myself a nice AIO watercooler for Christmas, at first I was looking at the Kraken X31 but this just popped up on PC Case Gear

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=29945

You might think I'm a fool for wanting watercooling on a locked i7 2600 (still it can oc to 4.2GHz) but I'm going to upgrade to Skylake next year so I want something nice looking and capable for the new platform, plus it gets extremely hot here in summer so watercooling is the best choice IMO.

Question: does the Alphacool require coolant refills? It's more of a custom loop than an AIO closed loop system.

As long as you keep the loop closed and nothing leaks it should be fine.

Should keep your CPU rather... Frozen.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

It's winter in Canada, so I've let loose the Frozen jokes. And yes, I could have used a "let it go" joke there, but those are ao over used and mindless.

Don't worry I annoy my 4-year-old brother with the song as well

I do think most people here can comprehend how many times I've seen Frozen.

not to beat a dead horse, but the "Alphacool" Eisberg is a rebranded idea of the

Cooler Master Eisberg manufactured by Alphacool. the Eisberg platform was the

first creative platform to possibly upgrade the AIO to expandable characteristics,

but because of the pump noise (and attempts to quieten) and lackluster deltas

shelved a lot of the sales to lesser-expensive AIO choices.

to be honest, a mid-high ended air cooler is more price/quiet option. most peeps

buy more fans for the AIO making it rather expensive with little to no gain in

performance or quietness.

I like the looks of an AIO, a tower cooler doesn't have that neat look like a watercooler does
