GTX 970 help!

Hello i'm xmas shopping and i want a good 970 so i can play all of those newer games. First of all. am i choosing a good GPU? and if so which one do you recommend?

I understand the strix version of the 970 is the best choice. but they are always sold out!

I have the MSI one, it's great, quiet (won't hear fans even if they are at 70% speed), 40ºC idle, not reaching 70ºC playing games, uhm, it's pretty awesome, i'd recommend it.
