Hey the good people of linustechtips,

I was just wondering if the alphacool nexxos vga full waterblock is good since it only actively cools the GPU not the VRAM and VRM. Thanks

welcome to the Linus Tech tips forums!

JayzTwoCents was going to do a review, but never got around to it.

passive VRM/VRAM cooling is fine, but kind the idea was to encompass all

cooling through water cooling, not just half. kind of a spin off from the old

swiftech idea, just more modern. still got reference vs custom PCB issues

due to the different locations of VRM and sizing. if there is no chance of a

block available for a semi-popular PCB, then yeah, but not as a sole

replacement to one that might be available as a full cover block.

I love the concept but i recently had a pretty bad experience with them and alphacools support not being helpful at all.. so i am not going to stick with them in terms of waterblocks.

I still love their radiators though *hides in the corner and pities his weak resolution*
