Ok so the assembly is not the problem. Can somebody help me assemble a short checklist of everything I will need to do for software? This is my first PC build, so far these are the only things I can think of:

-Get Windows ISO onto USB

-Have USB formatted for Windows Install

-Install Windows (obviously)

-Check for mobo/BIOS updates once windows is up and running

-Do all windows updates

-Install Graphics Drivers for NVIDIA

What else am I missing? I've never installed via USB either so this should be interesting. I just want to make sure I'm covering all my bases here, thanks.

Current PC build: [CPU: Intel i7 8700k] [GPU: GTX 1070 Asus ROG Strix] [Ram: Corsair LPX 32GB 3000MHz] [Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A] [SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB primary + Samsung 860 Evo 1TB secondary] [PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750w 80plus] [Monitors: Dual Dell Ultrasharp U2718Qs, 4k IPS] [Case: Fractal Design R5]

I'd also recommend using the website https://ninite.com/ to download some key programs like chrome, steam, WinRar, VLC, and other free stuff all at once. It's prety handy to just select what you need, download and install everything all at once instead of going to each site. NCIX did a video on their channel about ninite too :)

Wow the tech tips channel seems so much more professional after watching this :P Yeah Linus talks about this all the time. Thanks for the tips tho. I'll be making a list on my current PC of everything I need on a piece of paper then using that when I download everything on my new PC.

Edit: Lmao, what is wrong with Linus in this video xD
