I live in Germany and thought about building a PC this year.

My plans for the PC are: Gaming on ultra settings ( I'm looking at you GTA 5 on PC ) and some college stuff on the other side.

My list so far.

As a case I would get the Define R5 and I would probably go for 2 displays 2560x1440, but I haven't decided which ones yet, maybe you can help.

So? Any recommendations or alternatives that would make my build cheapper or better for the same price ?

Thank you, for your replies.

This is what I got, hopefully it is reasonably within you price range in euros. 2 1440p monitors might be a little out of your range, so 2 1080ps, or 1 1440p is all you can get. (estimating). I am also assuming you dont need storage or OS considering the lack of in your first build.

First of all thanks for the quick responses.

But can you guys tell me, why these CPU are better than the 5820K?

And Chuck ? Why is 2x 1440p out of range ? GPU and CPU wise it should work...

And what is so awesome about the Z97 ?

Sorry if I sound so newbie-like

Going with a 6 core cpu (i7 5820K) won't be of any benefit for gaming. Most games rely more on the gpu anyway.

You could go with an i5 4690K and 8GB Ram for that purpose. Things like video rendering/editing can make use of an i7 and more ram.

When you say you are going for dual monitors I hope you are not planning on gaming across them both ? Or is one for gaming and the other for doing college related stuff ?

Thank you. So an i5 is better.

and I want to game on one monitor and have on the second one some random stuff ( music, word, etc )

So 8gb of RAM is enough and what i5 is best ( price is unrelated )

Thank you

Yes 8GB is fine for gaming. If you get a 2 x 4GB kit then you can always add another 2 x 4GB in the future to make it up to 16GB.

The i5 4690K is the cpu to go for.

Can you recommend some good displays ?

The Asus PB278Q is a very good all round 1440p Monitor.

If you want something more gaming orientated then maybe look at a G-Sync monitor, although you will pay a lot more for a 1440p one such as the Asus ROG Swift.

I'm investing in the Future.

And a Question: if I have on Display with G-Sync ( the Asus one ) and a second one non G-Sync. Will my Graphicscard still be able to detect the Maindisplay with G-Sync and then have G-sync on this diplay?
