Front Panel Audio NOT WORKING. HELP!

Go to solution Solved by lani100,

I recently redid the cable management in my Corsair Air 540 and unplugged many of the internal headers in the process. When I put it all back together I noticed that the pc isn't recognising my earphones plugged into the front panel. I checked the mobo and the HD Audio header is securely connected.

What could be the possible cause of the problem and how do I fix it??

You might have actually pulled the cable on the jack connector.

EDIT: FIXED PROBLEM: Just unplugged and plugged back in HD AUDIO header connector and works now  :D

There is a front audio connector that you unplugged..most likely.

They look like this: Get the HD audio one

See on the bottom left, it says F audio in this pic, just put the cable back in:

Although it depends on what your motherboard is, and where the socket for it is, but Most likely it is at the bottom.
