I guess I but excessive force on a button while playing earlier the down shift dpi button. Which is odd because at the time the button failed I am certain I didn't even press the one in question. I have circled the switch that seems damaged in the attached file. Anyway, I have already opened it up to examine what went wrong and I had to remove the feet, (they were getting gross and falling apart anyway) so now I would need to replace those too. But is there anyway to replace a switch in the g502? looks like it's soldered on to the pcb. And I do not have the tools or the know how for that. If anything I will get over it and just use 2 dpi settings instead of 3 so I can have a single dpi switch button. Also would logitech be willing to send me replacement feet if I contacted them you think? Any help is appreciated.

You may want to contact their customer support, they may let you RMA your unit.

First try to contact them for an RMA it and see if they can help but if it out or warranty and they can't help then you could trying using a cotton swap and some 99% isopropyl alcohol and wash/drench the button to clean out any debris or dirt that might be causing the issue and let it dry for 5 mins before testing. I did this with a corsair M60 where I had a right click that did not always register for some odd reason but after cleaning it out everything is back in working order.

If you aren't comfortable soldering and cant RMA it then you will probably have to live with it... you could look around for a local electronics assembly company or even within your friends for someone who is comfortable soldering, replacing a switch is really easy to do so most people/places would likely do it as a freebie if you supply the replacement switch and ask reel nice like ;)

@SeanBond That mouse has a 3 year warranty. RMA it.

Even if I took it apart and put it back together? They will probably know once they see the foot pads removed.

It's not an issue with dirt or debris, the actual click when pressing the tiny little bump is gone. It's silent and no response from it.

Ask logitech lol.

I hear they have pretty decent support. And hey, I think they'll understand if you took the casing off to see what was wrong with it.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

foot pads removed it's not considered broke the warranty of the mouse i think, because the place where i live in here...they use a sticker for rma in  the box..not in the mouse..and u can buy the foot pads too..they actually have it for sale if the one u're using is wear out..

No..i mean in the country where i live..i live in asia..so they put a sticker in the box from the shop im originally bought..to process the warranty later, so i don't think u need to worry about rma ur mouse eventhough u opened it..i already tried when rma my razer mouse 2 times eventhough i already tear it apart..and im sure logitech warranty will do the same..

Didn't have a sticker for that, bought mine off newegg.com. I may have opened it up but it's not like I changed anything so hopefully I will find out later.
