The core 300 is pretty good, linus bashed the core series (can't remember which one), but only because he was hoping for something better. A good option is the nzxt s340 as long as you are careful with the window. The h440 is also a good option, but it costs $95-100. Phanteks has the enthoo pro which is nice.

Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl)-$68.99

Fractal Design Define R5-$119.98

Those are the two best cases in my opinion without breaking the bank. The R5 is a lot better than the R4 when it comes to cooling. I personally would go with an R5 on my build if i had the extra cash but im going to be stuck with the R4 since its $40 cheaper.

I would get an R4, but the wide stance of it just isn't appealing to me. I look into it a bit more though, and the 330R is just kinda meh.

Dude that wide stance of the R4 is actually functional since it gives you so much room behind the back plate for cable management. Most cases have around 3/4 of an inch back there the R4 is over an inch which is really nice for routing your cables.

Anything really, just not something through the roof.

Well damn there goes my PC case.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

What case should I get? I was think a Fractal Core 3000, but now I'm thinking it might be too crappy. :/

      Must:

  • Black
  • Mid-tower
  • No window

Thanks.

For the money it is a good case, http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2013/01/21/fractal-design-core-3000-review/1.

In addition to the other suggestions, you might look at the Corsair 230T and the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
