alittle small for my taste, but it looks good

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

I'll take that a step further and say anything under 23" is WAY too small to be useful

I'm on a budget and right now I'm still using a 4:3 monitor so its an improvement for me nonetheless.

Well, you can get a 23-24" IPS panel for around $140 and a TN 23-24" panel for around $100, which is really worth saving up for since its FAR more screen space (about 60% more).
