Hey everyone,

I have a quick question That I hope you guys could answer for me. Because it is Cyber Monday, and I am looking at all the sites. I was wondering if I could pick up a second 780TI to add to my rig. But the exact model that I bought is out of production

Already in my Rig: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487003

Second: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487072

Can I put these guys into a SLI Configuration and actually see a boost?

Yes, you can.

Manufacturer/Brand doesn't matter. As long as it's the same product line (in this case 780 Ti) and the VRAM is the same then you're good to go!

CASE: Phanteks Enthoo Pro // CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K @4.2GHz // GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Reference // RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport @1333MHz // MOBOASUS P8Z77-V LK // SPACE: 240GB Crucial M500 SSD ~ WD Black 1TB // PSU: Corsair CX750M //

I don't think so. Classified's are in a class of their own, you can't SLI them with other 780 Ti cards.

Standard 780 Ti's would work though. You'd get the clock speed of the slower one. Just set them both up on the same clock and you're good! :)

The reason I asked, there is clearly a debate :P

I'm still not convinced. But maybe the chips are the same, just cherry-picked. I don't really know so not going to give any false advice here. Hope you find what you're looking for OP! :)

Classified cards use a custom PCB btw. That's why I don't think they would work together.

A lot of cards use custom PCB's. Yet they can still crossfire/SLI

Here's another thread in LTT which I found with a quick research:

Says it's possible but I wouldn't do it before asking about it to the guys at EVGA.

Guess it depends on the person and their opinion then :) It wouldn't hurt to double check with EVGA.

But as far as statistics go, they should be just fine because they have the exact same chipset, bandwidth and VRAM.

Yeah, I agree. :) I just don't want to give out false advice here. Best thing to do would be asking EVGA about it.
