Deathadder Chroma or Logitech Performance MX?

This may seem like an odd pair of mice to have together when asking which is best, so feel free to recommend any others if you feel they'd be better for what I need :)

Anyway, I recently bought I new PC and I'm looking for a new mouse. I used to have a Logitech MX1000 which I adored for it's comfort, but sadly it needs to be replaced as the middle mouse button has broken.

Ergonomics is the main thing I'm looking for, so the Logitech Performance MX stood out as having a similar shape to my old mouse. I read that it was very comfortable and also that the Deathadder was also a great mouse for comfort. The Deathadder is wired, whereas the Logitech Performance is wireless, and so was the Logitech MX1000. I'm worried about whether the wires will be a problem that get tangled or need tugging on the Deathadder or not.

So well done for reading through my badly worded post, and thanks :)

Do you plan to use the mouse for gaming? If so, how serious about it are you? If you are serious about gaming performance, then the Death Adder would be a far better choice. For comfort and general use the Performance MX would win. You could also check out Mionix Naos 7000 if you want a more ergonomic mouse that is also better suited for gaming, or G602 is you really want a wireless mouse (for gaming).

I've said it several times already, but I've had an out-of-the-box Deathadder die on me when trying it out in Best Buy. After all I hear about Razer and their build quality, I would try to stay away from them.

Logitech's performance MX stuff is great and I'd go for that with my own money.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

That is your opinion though, yes I've had bad luck with the Deathadder too... But my 2 friends are going on 1-2 years no problems, I'm on my second one because the mouse wheel broke. But I do LOVE the Deathadder. It is sad that you've had bad luck but I would recommend the Deathadder. The wire does not get in the way at all. Not once when owning have I even had to readjust the wire. It just sits there... No problems.... But if you have enough trust to go with the Deathadder, I do, then get it.

Ive had logitech performance MX for like a year and a half. Its very comfortable when you get used to it. Ergonomically probably one of the better ones. I use razor Deathadder now and I would probably recommend this one over the two you are talking about. For me its the best ergonomic mouse I have used. I never get any fatigue.
