Downloaded 4k video from youtube won't play on UHD TV

Michael

Hello guys, I download a 4k video on youtube but it refuses to play on our new Skyworth 50e790 UHD android smartTV. It says "video file not supported" when I try to play it. I download a 1080p version of that video and it plays fine. I've attached a mediainfo ss of 2 video files that I'm talking about(see below). I've tried to search for documentation, manual, etc. for this particular product with no results even on the skyworth's page :(

Thanks..

Ye, it probably does not like the massive bitrate + that codec. Try converting it.

I'm trying to convert it to QHD first. If it still doesn't work, I'lI gonna try converting it to other codec. Thanks.

Most UHD TVs only take a 4K stream via one of its inputs (HDMI usually), but cannot play UHD resolution files via USB.

You can confirm this with your user guide (or calling the maker).

Its probably only supporting AVC up to level 4.1

I've tried converting it to avc 4.1, doesn't work either. I even tried it on h265, still not working.
