Help on Different PC Builds

I have ran into a problem. I am in grade 10 and in grade 10 everyone is required to complete a project known as the "personal project" at my school. Since, its "personal project", I have decided to make a guide that tells a person the process of building their own PC and then I am going to be building a PC for myself later on. In the guide I wish to add examples for different PC builds (budget build, mainstream build and extreme build) and the parts that are required for each those builds. So the problem is that I am not sure on what components to choose for each build and the fact that if those components are going to be the most suitable component for each type of build or not considering the total cost of the build.  So can you help me out here by telling me what components you would choose and put in each type of build, budget build ($200 to $400), mainstream build ($300 to $700) and extreme build ($700+). Your suggestions would be really appreciated.
