What would be a decent DC fan controller that is either a fan hub by itself, or could be connected to the fan hub in my H440?

/I know about the molex re-pin mod, I'd rather not do that, I'd rather have an actual controller (that can be hidden away in the bottom (inside) of my case).

Not cheap though, but works great. A more modern T-balancer. I have it in my H440 for fan control based on my water temperature, but it also will work off CPU/GPU temps. Or the included 4 air sensors.

I would check out Lamptron's lineup and see if they have anything that fits what you want. They have a ton of different styles, and types of fan controllers, from simple sliders to knobs, to knobs with readouts, to the touch screen types.

A few that might work for you:

way more than im looking to spend, plus way more than I actually need

Is there something even cheaper? I really don't care if the fans are pwm controlled through some converter -- I'd be happy with a simple hub with a toggle switch -- 5v/7v/12v (especially if it means saving a fairly decent amount of money).

Mine cost me $20 here in Aus. I don't think that's a bad price. It is basically just a hub you can purchase seperately, you plug up to 11 3-pin fans into it, and then a 4-pin connector into a spare CPU-fan header, and a sata cable for power. Then all of that is handled automatically by your motherboard

well, all my fans are pwm with the exception of one stock case fan and my seidon 240m's pump; and everything else is already taken care of off my two of five headers.
