Overheating?

Sometimes when I play games my screen turns black, and I end up having to restart the computer.So I opened up one side of my computer case, but it still happens.I used msi Kombuster to test it the max temperature was 62 degrees.So it is probably not overheating.Are there any other reasons why this happens?

Does it happen with all games? Any overclocks on the card?

I didn't overclock it.Most 3D games I have after I play for a while the screen will turn black.So I try not to play for too long.

Please try reinstalling your drivers.

You should try clean installs of drivers.

 

 

If fresh drivers fail then consider RMA or fresh windows install... :L

 

Kombuster isn't a stability test, it just makes heat. A nice burn.

I am using the geforce experience and it says my drivers are up to date.Should I try reinstalling drivers?

 I understand that some people have issues with the current nVidia drivers. I would suggest a complete removal of your GPU drivers, and install the 314.22  or 320.00 beta

Yes. Download the latest drivers(certified or beta), remove your current ones, and then install the downloaded ones with the clean install box checked off.

as said above.

-clean install of drivers

-try different drivers that are known to be highly stable 306.97 is one of those

-try a clean install of windows

-try bumping up voltage for graphics card

-try a different pci express slot
