760 vs 970

Hello!

 

I'll be building a new gaming pc around 2015 jan or maybe early feb and i cant realy decide between to options.

First is a 6300-760 build (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/trepakdani/saved/ntZqqs), witch seems a good all around build with around 75$ left spending on keyboard and mice,

the other one 6300-970 (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/trepakdani/saved/N69RsY) is only about getting that 970 fit in budget with almast the cheapes case, keyboard and mice.

 

i plan on gaming on 1 monitor in 1080p and i live in Hungary, Central Europea.

A 760 will do 1080p just fine at high settings.

If you really want to skimp on the case and KB + Mouse then do so, because the 970 is quite a bit more powerful.

 

You could do a NZXT S340 for the first build and then have more money to spend on the extras.

Yeah thats what i cant decide if i would need that kind of power in the future ( i am going to universty so this wont be upgraded for a good while) or 760 will do fine.

The time you will build your PC is also the time the GTX 960 will come out, if you can skimp on some stuff to get something really powerful like the 970 do it, because you can change your mouse and keyboatd later, but a expensive GPU you can't

EDIT: You can cheap out on the keyboard and mouse to get a better case, and then get a better mouse and keyboard when you get the money in the future.

Also if you are keeping this rig for a while then PLEASE GET THE 970! You will be glad you did a few years from now!

And will the 6300 with the am3+ board stand a chance in the long run , with proper oc ?

The board you have chosen is shit. Get a Gigabyte GA970AUD3P as a bare minimum to run that chip and get a Hyper 212 cpu cooler. Definitely get the 970.
