It is intended for the utmost extreme overclocks, everyday use would be an absolute headache and hassle. As michalpiekarski said if you want great temps with a lot less maintenance go with a custom water loop. This is not to say that there is no maintenance to be had with a water loop but significantly less than its dry ice counterpart.

hope this helps!

As long as you know what you're doing and insulate your parts well then there's no problem.

Personally I've had some fun in the past running some good benches for HWbot. It's just for tuning your HW to the max which is obviously something that only a part of the enthusiast community enjoy.

Pour anti freeze in your watercooling liquid. Put a rad in a refrigerator outside your case. Seal your case. Pump all the air out. Put dry air in. Put a rad inside the case to cool down the air.

Now you have a long term solution for negative number temps.

Never seen it doen but seems like it should work.

Just a cool idea I've thought of.

dry ice is a terrible idea no offence 1 its CO2 so you must have some circulation of air or you will die secondly the interface between the metal block on the cpu to the dry ice will be crap, yeah dry ice is cheap and cold but there is way to many draw backs.

Take apart a fridge and use the evaporation chamber as a cooler and the condensator as a heat disapator at least then you will get great temperatures and you wont die. or use liquid helium but thats on the expensive side :-)
