PC Parts Picker List

Aim:

My aim for this build as the title says is gaming and streaming, also video editing and rendering but those are secondary goals. I play open world games like Skyrim and Dragon Age, my go to types of games are RPG and Open World. Lastly, I do plan of OverClocking this build to its potential.

Monitors:

I have a monitor right now though a rather generic monitor 1080p 60Hz refresh 22inch or 21.5 without bezel. I also plan on a 3 monitor setup which is a big must for me. I do however want to get a G-Sync monitor when more come out and they aren't so expensive. However, if the opportunity arose I would get an Asus Swift.

Peripherals:

I own a keyboard, Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. I do not however own a mouse but when it comes to mice I like extra mouse bindings but I'm not looking more than 6 I like the Razer Deathadder but I don't know if that's a quality choice. Lastly, I'd like to get a Logitech headset but I'd need to be light for long periods of gaming and has to be surround sound. I'm not the most knowledgeable in the topic of audio so if someone could help that'd be most appreciated.

Why are you upgrading?

This will be my first PC I can call my own before I was using an old '09 PC that was my brothers and now I'm properly ascending to the MasterRace. If that isn't a good enough reason I don't know that is.

Edit: added clarified what I wanted in monitors

ok. you could probably go with a 4790K. that mobo is WAYYY overkill.

Nothing is color matched. This is a weak build.

I wouldn't bother with Windows 8.1 Pro just get the normal version

swap the PSU with the evga G2 750W. very good and fully modular

if you want a red/black mobo get the MSI X99S gaming 7 or gigabyte GA-X99-Gaming 5 .but the msi X99S SLI Plus is enough

get a WD blue or Seagate barracuda. and not 1TB .2TB at least

samsung 850 pro is out and its less expensive than the 840 you listed http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LF10KNA/?tag=pcpapi-20

but a 1150 build with the i7 4790K is enough for your needs

Have a look at my rig but swap out the Corsair AX1500i for an AX1200i

sorry to say this but your build...terrible

You probably don't need to go for an X99-based PC ATM, a Z97-based one should do you fine. ;)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

I problem that I have with most non-Gigabyte cards is I'm looking into a 3 monitor setup and I don't like DVI or having to use it. Just my personal preference.
