COD Ghosts ?

I/O

Has anyone played this game ? Does it have crap optimization or is buggy. Let me know how it's playing on your hardware. I might pick it up on the Steam sale or I might not get it and just go with Dragon Age Ultimate.

Idk about optimization but it's pretty universally hated. I mean if it's on sale, I guess, but I'd recommend advanced warfare if you can.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Aren't all COD games after COD 4 pretty much universally hated on and still played by all the haters LOL ? I never will pay full price for any COD game or most games for that matter. I try and buy the games when they release with all the DLC at a massively discounted price a year or more later.

You can understand why. Unless you have been living under a rock everyone knows Ghosts is the worst COD game ever made. If you actually didnt know im sorry thought you were joking around (i.e. trolling) :P

I don't pay attention to all the COD releases but I do like playing through the campaigns just one time though. IMO COD Ghost for $16 with some DLC is much better buy than a slightly newer COD game for sum $70 freaking dollars. As long as it plays smooth and has no game breaker bugs then all COD games are the same only the maps change.

Being a fan by buying the game and a collectors edition every year, I'll let you know that Ghosts is the worst Call of Duty yet... I would honestly pick up Black Ops 2 if you haven't already, or Advanced Warfare.

Unless you want to pay money for the story, which was pretty good in Ghosts. Don't waste your time with Extinction, Squads or Multiplayer.

There's a reason it costs less than older COD games like BO2. Even hardcore COD fans hated it.

It costs less cause it on sale. BLOPS 2 was on sale a couple weeks ago.

I was thinking of picking up BLOPS 2 after all these years of putting it off. To be honest I have not bought or played a COD game since MW2 which I really enjoyed for many hrs.

1. as we are talking about one of the biggest franchises out there and this is a populated forum, many people played it for sure.

2. it uses a heavily modified quake engine. it is okay.

3.if your PC runs any CoD game, it will run this one too

4. Dragon Age might be a good game. Ghost is not.
