EA being EA again... (Madden)

So, there was this big vote to see who would be on the cover of the next Madden. Barry Sanders won. Now, EA turns around and gives us this:

For all you non American Football fans, that is a photo of Adrian Peterson. I'm not buying anything EA anyway, but it just makes me angry when they say they want to do what the fans say, then completely ignore them like that.

Well, since the Madden cure, they have to use a current player so that they'll have a bad year next year.. If they went with Barry Sanders on the cover, the curse would be broken and the Madden franchise would be useless.

 

But in all seriousness, they won't use a player who retired from the league 15 years ago on the cover..

Honestly I don't even care, I thought AP just flat out deserved it..

 

I don't think it's fair to compare a current phenomenal player, to a past legend. It's like how nobody likes to hear that Lebron is better than Jordan. 

 

ALSO, don't forget that the AP cover is only out when the game is rereleased for PS4 and Xbox One. The older consoles will still have Barry Sanders on the cover. So stop
