Problem solved i guess

ok guys to cut this short i bought a pc case with a motherboard first ever build pc i did not get any standoffs with my case so i screwed my motherboard  to the case without stand-offs and left it overnight then i watched a video of someone putting in standoffs ''note'' i did not yet build my pc fully yet so i rushed to my pc and got my motherboard out of my case haven't tested it can't test it yet help is it broken or am i jsut being paranoid?

No. It's probably not broken. Put the standoffs in when you get them and put the motherboard back in to verify though.

If you've not ran the system, it'll be fine.

 

If you have, you'd know something was up the second it refused to POST.

If you havent turned the pc on u should be fine.

Also, you're probably fine, if it hasn't been powered on there's no reason for anything to have gone seriously wrong.

 

I would suggest reading manuals before proceeding, they're helpful when you're learning, prevent expensive mistakes.

U will be ok. If on the tiny chance its not, just RMA it :P DOA lol. But tbh i would say ur 99% fine. Ive had a secondary mb running just on a table as a folding machine for a while.
