SSD Caching

I just got a new SSD and i was wondering if i had to do a reinstall of my entire system to get it working. I was reading online and it said that the Intel SRT required the HDD do be in RAID mode not AHCI. My current HDD is in AHCI, so am i SoL or can i change it fairly easily to RAID mode to get SSD caching working.

So just plug it in and just use it to install some games on it? That probably the easiest method. 

 

Do you happen to know by any chance in the WD cloning technology is good?

Just do a fresh install. :L
