im looking to get a gaming pc but i dont have enough room for a mid-tower, this pretty much limited me to a small case and an matx/mitx build. i opted for an matx build.

it probably needs tweaking and its about £200 over my planned budget but i dont mind spending a little extra.

the only problem that has cropped up is that the length of the graphics card may get in the way of the hard drive cage but i dont mind taking that out and putting the HDD and SSD on the bottom of the case

I tweaked your build slightly.

I changed the 4690 to a 4690k so you can overclock, also changed the PSU, 650W was a bit overkill. And changed the case to a 350D from Corsair.
