Keep On Diggin' Shirt Sizes?

I've never used the teespring website before, and their sizing is confusing to me.

 

My chest measured around is 43", while teespring only has the following measurements for their American Apparel Crew shirts: Width, Length and Sleeve.

 

I did some diggin and checked American Apparel's website... their shirt size measurements are displayed properly, and I would fall under a large as that is 40-44", while teespring says a large is 22" Width and 30.38" length? I've never encountered this type of measuring before and I want to know if anyone who has bought one or is familiar with teesprings measurements can let me know as the shipping to the UK alone is $15 xD
