Temporarily swapping GPUs?

I have a 660ti, and I want to test out an R9-270 that is for a friends build. Is it as simple as just plug and play, then installing drivers?

Pretty much. And don't worry about the drivers conflicting, since I have the Intel drivers, AMD drivers, and Nvidia drivers all installed and working at the same time.

 

Why would you do this?
