Ram replacement is usually the easiest after battery and HDD replacement on laptops ( UNLESS , the f**kers soldered the ram on , which happened on my old laptop )

Links are messed up, but basically what you do is: ground yourself, unplug the battery/charger, unscrew the ram cover, push the little metal tabs at the end of the ram slots - the ram should pop up at a 45deg angle, pull them straight out, put the new ram in the same way, push down and the little metal tabs will pop in to place.

I doubt you can replace/change SDRAM in a Eeebook. Usually RAM and eMMC storage for Eeebook are soldered and not upgradeable.
