Cheapest HD800 Replacement Cable

I am looking for the cheapest functional HD800 replacement cable. Preferably 3.5mm and less than 3 feet long. Currently the cheapest I can find is $150 from Headphone Lounge. Sennheiser sells them for a stupid $200. I believe the connector is proprietary. I am not looking to DIY. And god damn, why can't more people sell shorter cables? I'm not using it to tie hostages up or something.

Plz halp save my audio feelz. I wanna catch all the qualities.

Thanks.

Ideas:

the connectors are $40 alone, good luck finding a cheap cable.

Will work for electronic components and parts

Did you try http://www.bestintheversecables.com/ ?

Also, the ones from headphonelounge, take whatever price you're looking at, and add $50.

I actually talked to the guy that owns headphonelounge a while back, he'll help you with everything etc.  You can call him basically whenever or email him, he'll help you do everything you need etc.

I was going to buy a cable for my LCD-2's a while back and was talking to him about it, he explained a lot of stuff etc. Pretty nice guy, won't try to snake oil you either.
