Much more water cooling friendly, some more creature comforts and overall more modular. That more or less sums up the R5, in my opinion.

well you can also take a look at the nzxt S340. I think it is a good case for the money. If not, take a look at the phantaks enthoo pro vs and R4/5 and decide from your liking of the cases' looks

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

I dont really see the point of the enthoo pro now that the r5 is relased because they both have 420 rad support, and the fractal is quieter

It's a matter of preference. The R5 is better than the R4, but I find the Pro to be nicer looking and quiet is only subjective to the fans being used. In my old R4, I still found fan noise to be really loud when they were running at 12v, this included a 140mm Noctua. Any case can be silent when you keep the RPMs in check to balance performance and cooling capability.

I am getting the R5, over the R4, and as far as i know, the non windowed version has better silence foam or whatever its called, and therefore a bit more quiet. They also fixed quite a few "mediocre" things about the R4. The motherboard tray has an indent, so the motherboard is actually mounted lower than the rest of the tray.

I am really excited for it, and i have already ordered it.
