Mouse question

I currently have and use a g500. Had it for years. To the point the rough texture has worn off in places. I originally got it because I wanted the free spin wheel for reading thousand page documents I worked with. I'm not doing that anymore, so that's not a necessary feature.

I've always had good experience with Logitech as a company. They've replaced defective mice for me really quickly. I've had two where the switches in the left button messed up. I have also tried the razer imperator but I have pretty sweaty hands and I hated the rubberized texture.

I really only care about having two thumb buttons and maybe an on the fly dpi adjustment if I have to (I have used it once in the last 2 years) but I really just want a solid, no frills, very accurate mouse for gaming and working. The g502, death adder, and maybe something from steelseries are things I'm considering. Anyone have any thoughts on those or other suggestions to look at?

Yeah way overkill. I dont even use keyboard macro keys. I had a 2000dpi razer mouse like 10 years ago (death adder I think). I think 1400 was as far as I ever took that.

I've been looking at the zowie mice. Especially the fk1 and EC1 evo. Anyone weigh in?

I enjoy my steelseries sensei raw and it sounds like it meats most over your criteria although you might look at some of steelseries other options because I believe mine has the rubberized surface you say doesn't suit you.
