hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone knows if the lenovo Y5070 is any good and whether it is 64 bit or not.

what do you mean with "if it is 64bit" as in does the cpu support 64bit or is the preinstalled windows 64bit

It should come with 64-bit Windows on a 64-bit architecture, yes.

OS in question that it should come with is more than likely Windows 8/8.1. You can install 7 if you so desire as well as any Linux Distro of your choice.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I own the low end version with the i5, runs games fairly well at medium settings, however the sshd it comes with is garbage, and it also comes with a TN panel which was horrible, fourtanatly you can replace the sshd and even buy an LG ips replacement screen online. The keyboard is great, but will run hot while gaming. The speakers are great for a laptop, however the touchpad sucks.
