Hey guys! So I am making a build for christmas, and it will be my first one! It will be a gaming one.

I need some advice on what motherboard to get. This is my build. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Boston_Bruins_SD/saved/jhLbt6

Also, any criticism on the built its self please tell me!

Get the G55 SLI. I would recommend to change that mouse to another one. the Ouroboros can be an alternative to that.

My Current PC Codename: Scrapper

Do you recommend changing the mouse because of the high price tag?

Oh, also, a pair of headphones/headset. I have a Blue Snowball mic right now. would you recommend I get a pair of like Sennheisers or a gaming headset?

Get the Sennheiser HD 558 or the ATH-M50. The most recent AKG K7XX is also a great headphones based on Linus' review. If you can, try to take a look and test it first before choosing what to buy. The problem with the mouse is that I read some of the reviews that the sensor easily dies. The ouroboros isn't the most accurate mouse, but it can be both wired or wireless without that high latency. I wouldn't recommend both of them unless you really need a wireless mouse. You can either get the razer deathadder chroma,g402 or the g502.

Alright, I'm not the best when it comes to anything PC related obviously.

Now, what do you think the best overall gaming mouse for FPS games are? (CSGO, DayZ, ECT)

On mobile so its really hard to link one.

For PSU go for corsair vs450w

For mouse get g502

For keyboard,Are you really sure you need RGB because you wouldnot be watching those glowing lights during gaming.

But.. but.. its pretty  :(  :(

No, I don't need the RGB. Just wanted it, but I guess it's just an expense I don't need.

Would you recommend the K70 or should I switch it to a Ducky or something.

Remember I am not forcing you to change your decision on the RGB one.But you need to consider what I said to you before.K70 cherry mx red is best for gaming.K70 for quality build.

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK   $99

ram is overpriced, get define r5 instead of r4, my personal favorite is nzxt s340 since it isn't as big as define and enthoo pro,   windforce 970 istead of strix,      small psu if not using sli

i would also consider i7 assuming a year later games might make use of 8 threads

I changed my PSU, changed mouse to g502, and changed to a normal K70 :3

I just realized how much extra I was paying for shiny lights when you asked if RGB was needed.

The Hd558 are surround sound right? So I can hear people behind me, to my left, etc?
