Do you have any really important files that would be incredibly bad or inconvenient to lose? If yes, either buy a drive for backup or use an online backup service. If no, then you probably don't need one.

 

Steam/Origin/Uplay will usually back up your game save files, and Google Drive should be more than adequate for general documents or other files.

After building my first custom pc about 6 months ago i sort of forgot about backing up my hdd. I didn't really think i would need one as all i have on my computer are some save games as i am currently using google drive. Do you guys think i need one. Also would i back up my storage drive (1TB blue) or just my ssd (120gb 840 evo). Thx

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems
