4790k VS. 4690k

Go to solution Solved by VolkA,

Gaming wise. Is a 4790k worth the additional $160 (here in NZD) it costs? Do you really gain that much perforamce? Or should I put that $160 towards a better graphic card instead?

Thanks

I think I asked this before in the past. The answer given to me was that if it is just for gaming and some (little) content creation, 4690k would be enough. 4690k should be enough for the next couple of years, in terms of gaming and some (again little) content creation.

Hope it helps.
