1. Budget & Location
I have a $1200-$1300 budget and am living in Australia (AUD)

2. Aim
Playing all the newest games, FC4, Battlefield all that good stuff around 60fps hopefully.

3. Monitors
One atm, but possibly getting two.

4. Peripherals
I'll need a keyboard and a mouse.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Never had a desktop computer before and i'm wanting to build one for the first time. And i'm looking to join the master race.

For the price of the costly mobo (NEEDED for FX), the FX, and the cooler, you could get a low end i5 and a $50 motherboard and run on the stock cooler. You'll get better gaming performance overall out of a 3.2Ghz i5 than you will out of a 4.5Ghz FX.
