Simple.. which one do you think is better?

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Adorza/saved/

Neither.

Do you need a x99 build?

What are you going to use it for?

Guessing that it's going to be for gaming, not for content creation you do NOT need a x99 system.

A Z97 would do just as nice.

Note to be able to get the dual 980's I got rid of windows 7 because windows 10 tech preview is free and stable

2x8gb allows for future upgrades

do you really need an optical drive?

for an extra $10 you can get an h110

ssd's are a waste of money but kept it just in case

4k? yes

But the problem here is, we can get an i7-4790K instead and use the leftover money for something else.

It is stable, but it is not at all stable enough to use it as a daily-driver. I'd stick with 8

oh please enlighten me. How is wicked-fast storage a waste of money?

I actually did pick this with the intentions of starting a youtube channel and looking into graphic design.

Well than I recommend Build #2 with a Noctua cooler (I heard it's more quieter/cheaper) with an 850 PRO/840 EVO (never heard of the brand, go with a MX100 or SP600 if necessary), and STRIX 970s.

For the power supply, I'm not so sure about BitFenix. I'll go with something from Corsair.

Other than that, it seems pretty decent.
