I know about overclocking but this is the first time I've actually wanted to try it. I have the fx 8350 @4.0Ghz. 25 minutes in Prime95 I'm getting 57c on air cooling. Am I able/if it's ok, can I clock this to 4.4Ghz safely? How much of a performance gain will this be?

Mobo and other specs in sig.

57* on air is great, go farther. did you add more power though? or did you just increase the speed?

I haven't overclocked yet. I'm looking at specifics for the 8350.

Random question. I was going to benchmark before and after. Why does the clock speeds show different then 4Ghz? I haven't overclocked yet. oVQMbXf.png
