can manufactures tell if you have OC you gpu

having alot of graphical crashes and issues and want to send of my graphics card to be looked at but i have overclocked it a few times. nothing extreme or even close and isnt in anyway really broken but is there some sort of log which they can check.

if anyone has ocerclocked their card and had  it sent off let me know

Are you sure? I thought all that information was held on your drive.

I believe they can, I've seen a few warranties that can be voided if you overclock, but that may just be in the case of bricking.

Overclock it, the GPU/CPU dies, what will they recover it from??? Also, CPU OC is stored in the motherboards bios, not in the CPU itself, and if you used an OC software for the GPU it is OC'd when you boot your PC, the OC isn't stored on the card.

Actually, it's stored in the cmos, but same idea.

 

GPU OCs are saved on the drive, as it is all software side.

Yeah, cmos, that's what I wanted to write, was in a bit of a hurry. Anyway, same rules apply, the cmos is on the board, you can wipe it instantly and all the settings are back to default. :D
